On top of that, players will need to stay on their toes as the boss is not the only thing they need to be watching out for. Here is how Resident Evil Village players can beat Eveline, the second boss of Shadows of Rose.

Gather the Supplies
Just after getting off of the elevator, Resident Evil Village players should move forward to a couple of items on the nearby table. The first is another flask that increases the size of Rose’s power gauge, just like the flask players picked up during the first boss fight. The second is a First Aid Med. Since supplies are limited, players should have plenty of space to pick up the First Aid Med. After receiving some encouragement from Michael, players will be able to enter the next room where Eveline waits for them.
How to Avoid Eveline’s Attacks
The most important thing that Resident Evil Village players should keep in mind is that Eveline only has one attack. Periodically she will unleash a blast of wind that does a lot of damage. Since resources are limited players will want to avoid taking damage if they can help it.
The only way for players to avoid getting hit is by taking cover and not being within line of sight of Eveline. Fortunately there are lots of boxes and furniture that players can use for cover. Players should follow Michael’s advice and wait for an opening before they come out of hiding.
How to Beat Eveline
After unleashing several attacks, Eveline will pause so that she can catch her breath. When this happens, it is safe for players to leave cover and go on the offensive. The only way to damage Eveline is for Rose to use her powers. Players should move toward Eveline, and they will be able to damage her once she is in range. After taking damage from Rose’s powers, Eveline will teleport to another part of the room.
Eveline will try to get to a part of the room where her attacks can hit players. To prevent this, players should immediately move and get behind cover to avoid the next series of attacks. Once it is clear again, players can use Rose’s powers to damage Eveline. This process repeats until Eveline teleports upstairs and tries to flood the first floor with mold. In order to avoid dying, players will need to destroy the nearby cores.
With the stairwell clear, players will be able to move upstairs. As they do so, Resident Evil Village players will want to keep in cover as much as possible as Eveline will start attacking much more frequently. Once Eveline finally takes a moment to catch her breath, players can attack her once again, and they will beat Eveline.
Resident Evil Village is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
