Before moving on to the next area, players will first have to defeat the large monster that has been chasing them throughout the Castle. Here is how Resident Evil Village players can defeat the first boss.
How To Beat The First Boss
While the boss was invulnerable during earlier encounters, players can finally damage it once they’ve obtained all three masks. To do this, Resident Evil Village players should look for the glowing weak point located on its chest. The weak point looks like a glowing orange flower with a face in the middle, and it is fairly easy to hit. Using the Shotgun is recommended, as it does much more damage than the Pistol. Ammo spawns pretty regularly in this fight, so players do not need to hold back.
While doing damage, players should also be constantly moving to avoid being hit by the boss as he does a lot of damage with his weapon. Once enough damage has been done, the boss will appear to die and smaller monsters will emerge as the nearby gate opens. Players will want to move toward the open gate as the red mold will start spreading across the floor quickly. The boss will also reemerge from mold as well, so players will need to move quickly to avoid getting hit.
Grab The Flask
As Resident Evil Village players navigate through the narrow corridor, they will come across a core that they can destroy. By removing this core, players will have some more breathing room as the boss fight continues. While the boss pursues players, a new weak point will appear on his right leg. Just like before, players will need to target the weak point until they do enough damage to make the boss retreat. Another gate will open as two additional monsters emerge and move toward players.
Once the monsters are dead, Michael will leave a message on the wall telling players to pick up the flask. After picking up the flask, Resident Evil Village players will need to destroy another core to regain access to the main arena. A third and final weak point will appear on the back of the boss. In order to hit this weak point, players will need to use Rose’s Powers to stun the boss. This will give players just enough time to hit the boss several times before they need to stun it again. Once enough damage has been done, the boss will finally die for real.
