RELATED: The Best Puzzles in Monkey Island Games (& How to Solve Them)

As a result, those who are new to the Monkey Island series will either need to rely on guesswork or a guide in order to answer all of the questions correctly. Sadly, there’s no real reward for doing so, though there are multiple Trivia Card-related achievements, including Card Collector, Trivia Go Getter, Trivia Master, Trivia Lord, and Trivia Overlord.

How to Find Trivia Cards in Return to Monkey Island

Before players can start collecting Trivia Cards, they’ll first need to pick up the Trivia Book from the table inside the SCUMM Bar during Part 1. Upon doing so, they’ll then be able to find trivia cards scattered around the world of Return to Monkey Island. These hard-to-spot cards spawn in countless fixed locations right throughout the game and will respawn every five minutes or so providing players don’t have ten unanswered trivia cards in their inventory.

With this in mind, it’s a good idea to take a moment to answer trivia cards every now and again to avoid hitting the limit. It doesn’t matter if players get a question wrong, as although the Trivia Card will disappear when they do so, they’ll be able to find it again later on. The best way to find trivia cards in Return to Monkey Island is by pressing and holding the Tab key, as this will highlight all of the objects that players can interact with on any given screen, making the cards much easier to spot.
